We’re delighted to be hosting Sensei Val Dale, 6th Dan, for our training & kyu grading on 1 October 2022.
Val is co-founder at our association body, Shotokan Connect and, with her husband Robin, runs Ichiban Karate, our Sensei Frank’s former club. Despite two anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction operations and three children, she still managed to successfully compete and be placed in many kata and kumite championships. Val is the highest graded woman in Shotokan Connect.
