We cancelled our regular Saturday class as all our instructors and seniors were attending the Shotokan Connect All Grades Training Course + Dan Grading at Brighton University Sports Centre in Falmer. Senseis Georges Dussart 6th Dan, Carl Howard 5th Dan and Blyth Baker 4th Dan were teaching, first the all-grades class and then the brown & black belts class. This was followed by the Dan gradings in which eight Senshi Karate students participated. The grading panel was composed of Senseis Ivan Birch 7th Dan and chair of Shotokan Connect, John Parnell 6th Dan and Robin Dale 6th Dan.
