Sensei Alex took our regular Saturday classes as Senseis Frank and Arianna were attending the Shotokan Connect All Grades Training Course + Dan Grading at Surrey Sports Park in Guildford. Sensei Blyth Baker 4th Dan and guest instructor Sensei Ben Fail also 4th Dan were teaching, first the all-grades class and then the brown & black belts class. This was followed by the Dan gradings in which three Senshi Karate students participated.
Senseis John Parnell 7th Dan (vice chair of Shotokan Connect), Val Dale 6th Dan (chair of Shotokan Connect) and Sensei Carl Howard also 6th Dan were on the grading panel.
All three of our students passed and we’re pleased to announce the results as follows:
