We were delighted that Sensei Robin Dale, 6th Dan, ran a training course and kyu grading for us. His wife Sensei Val and Sensei Georges Dussart (also 6th Dans) assisted. Sensei Rob ran through the kihon (basics) then did some kumite (sparring) practice giving everyone much to think about. He was very impressed with everyone, particularly in the improvements since he last visited in July and encouraged many to attend the Shotokan Nation performance course on 21 November. We put 20 students forward to grade and all were successful:
