Sensei Tanya took our regular Saturday classes as Senseis Frank, Arianna and Alaina were attending the Shotokan Connect All Grades Training Course + Dan Grading at Spectrum Leisure Centre in Guildford. Sensei Frank Veselovski 5th Dan and guest instructor Sensei Nick Heald 7th Dan were teaching, first the all-grades class and then the brown & black belts class. This was followed by the Dan gradings in which our Sensei Arianna participated. Senseis Sam Birch, Ian Harman and Val Dale (all 6th Dans) were on the grading panel with Sensei Rob Dale (also 6th Dan) reffing the kumite.
We’re pleased to say Sensei Arianna passed 3rd Dan!
