For the third year in a row we gave a karate demonstration at the Greenwich Millennium Village Summer Fayre. It involved a run through of team kata, Heian Shodan, Heian Sandan and Bassai Dai. We then did a bit of partner kumite, followed by punching and kicking the strike shield. And we gave out flyers and talked to those who are interested in having a go or joining a class. We told them about our new Beginners Course starting in September.

Again, there were stalls selling locally produced items, an urban farm, live bands, a Bollywood dancing demo, a fire engine, food & drink and a bouncy castle! Oh, there was also that F word we don’t talk about too ⚽️🙄 It was a great day .
