Last year, we hosted a charity cake sale for Macmillan Cancer Support. Alaina bought all the ingredients and baked all the cakes herself. In all, she raised £100!
This year after Saturday’s class on 28 September and Wednesday’s class on 2 October we will be repeating the cake sale but this time we will be splitting the proceeds between Macmillan and St Barts.
Alaina is doing this to raise funds for Macmillan to assist those affected by cancer; some of her family have been affected. Alex is doing this to raise funds for St Barts as a thank you for looking after her last year and to help others have as successful a recovery as she has.
We’re happy for you to bake your own cakes too and bring those along. Let us know if you intend to do this.
