We are delighted to be welcoming back Sensei Neil Jerome, 5th Dan at our regular classes on Saturday 15 April 2023. This session will focus on takedowns in a controlled manner.
Sensei Neil runs Kenmei in Norway and is co-founder of Shotorama. He is a good friend of the club and has much experience in different martial arts. He’s tried ju-jitsu, wing chun, capoeira, aikido and tai chi. He even took judo long enough to get a few belts. While he enjoyed them and opened his perspective no end, he always returned to shotokan as it contains everything. But, as he says, it is important to get external help finding the things you’ve missed.
On this occasion, we will merge our regular classes. Feel free to come at 9am and leave at 10.45. Or come at your regular time of 10am. All for the usual price for one class — £8 — or included for those who pay term upfront on Saturdays.
