We were delighted to hold a training & grading on 29 January 2023 with a guest examiner, Sensei Valerie Dale. At 6th Dan, Sensei Val is currently the highest-ranked female karateka at, and Vice Chair of, our association body Shotokan Connect. It’s also the first time we’ve had a woman run our gradings and we were honoured to host her!
