Arianna and Frank attended the bi-annual special Dan course at Bath university’s sports centre. It was taught by Sensei Andy Sherry, 9th Dan and Senseis Bob Poynton and Frank Brennan, both 8th Dans. As usual it was well-attended with black belts coming far and wide to train including Sensei Gary Harford 8th Dan and Sensei Robert Welch 7th Dan along with Senseis Dave Graham and John Parnell, both 6th Dans, who taught at the Shotorama course the previous week. Also Sensei Bob Rhodes 8th Dan was watching! Then followed gradings for third Dan and above.
We’re pleased to say our Sensei Frank passed 3rd Dan!
